• Smooth skinned larva with dark chitinised patches on the segments
• Adult is a moth with forewings having rows of dark rusty redspots

• Cotton soaked in 0.5% dichlorvos 76 EC (5 ml / lit.) can be kept in the borehole and plastered with mud paste
